[ ] Identify Instruments in Nearby Location
Pro Tip: Don’t take this step lightly or you will regret later when the project is in advanced stage.
[ ] Separate Junction Box as per IS / NIS Signal
Pro Tip: Some Top Companies want a Separate JB biased on AI / AO / DI / DO
Example - Saudi Aramco. (So read design basis well)
[ ] Triad Cables might require separate JB
Pro Tip: Quite a few F&G Detectors require Triad Cables
[ ] Check Requirement of Power JB
Pro Tip: Large Size Coriolis & Magnetic Flowmeters require external power (Beware!)
[ ] SIL Tags will have to be grouped in separate JB
Pro Tip: Note that if you have 2oo3 Transmitter Configuration then all 3 Transmitters must go through separate JB. (Why? Because SIL loops required independent path)
Pro Tip: General Spare Capacity is 20% but if you are starting a project keep a hidden Spare of extra 20%. Since most of the time Instruments keep adding till the final stages of the project.
